There is a lot of confusion in the eyelash industry about retention. Different manufacturers and trainers provide different advice, so it can be difficult to know what to believe. To help clear up the confusion, we wanted to provide a case study that uses our LashX method and real retention results with volume tabs. We found that customers can spend even longer between fillers with classic eyelashes because they tend to fade better as they fall out.
However, when a volume fan is lost, the loss is more dramatic.
Eyelash extensions
typically last 2 to 4 weeks on average. It is normal to lose a few lashes each day as your natural eyelashes go through their growth cycle. According to our research, most people prefer to book refills every 3 weeks (60.1%) in order to maintain a full lash line.So, how often do you need to get your eyelash extensions redone? Do eyelash extensions fall out over a certain period of time? Eyelash extensions last the entire growth cycle of natural eyelashes, which is usually 6 to 8 weeks. However, since everyone's eyelash growth is slightly different, it is recommended to slightly maintain your eyelashes every 2 or 3 weeks in order to keep them looking full. While you may need to get a touch-up about 3 weeks after applying your extensions, not all eyelash extensions fall out evenly.
Natural eyelashes
fall out every 45 to 60 days, so some extensions can last up to 2 months.If you don't want to touch up and want to remove your extensions naturally, you'll have to wait almost 8 weeks for every last piece to fall off. At some point, your eyelash technician may have no choice but to propose a completely new set. A qualified eyelash technician will be able to evaluate your eyelashes and choose the type of eyelashes that best suits you. It's up to the client if they want a more dramatic or more natural look, but in general, the more eyelashes applied, the more dramatic the effect will be.

The most popular flat eyelash diameters are 0.15 mm because they give the impression of using 0.18 normal eyelashes, and flat eyelashes of 0.18 mm in diameter give the impression of having used normal 0.20 mm eyelashes. Even if your client sleeps face down, the eyelashes will move with the natural hair which will prevent them from being torn or damaged and will last longer.
This service is usually performed by a certified eyelash technician who is fluent in the art of insulation and application. It is recommended to wash your client's eyelashes with a suitable eyelash cleaner and rinse them with saline solution in order to keep them looking fresh and full for as long as possible.
